Our BAAL Barish Olive Oil Soap Flakes are shavings from our BAAL Olive Oil Soap filled in 100% cotton muslin pouches. Our Flakes are sustainably made the old-fashioned way, in small-batches, and using the soap shavings resulting from hand-carving and hand-cutting our BAAL Olive Oil Soap. You’ll find zero preservatives, dyes, additives or animal fats in our Flakes. And while our BAAL Olive Oil Soap Flakes are free of any added fragrances, the soap naturally smell like a combination of olive oil and fresh laundry hung out to dry.

Our BAAL Barish Olive Oil Soap Flakes come in a pack of 3 pouches. The pouches come packaged inside a BAAL-stamped brown carton pocket, without the use of tape or any plastic packaging. Each pouch size is approx. 3.5in. x 2.5in. The 3 pouches weigh approx. 140 grams.

Uses: Olive oil soap flakes, called ‘Barish’ in Lebanon, have long been used by grandmothers as a natural laundry detergent & to keep moths away. Place our pouches in your dresser drawers or hang them in your closets to keep clothes smelling fresh & clean and as a natural moth deterrent. Or open the pouch and pour the shavings into a bath for a luxurious, fragrant & moisturizing soap bath ideal for the most sensitive skin.

What’s in it: sustainably sourced extra virgin olive oil in a 100% cotton pouch.

What’s not in it: parabens, synthetic fragrance, sulfates, phthalates nor anything from formaldehyde.

Did you know? At BAAL we believe in living sustainably. In harvesting our olives, nothing goes to waste. Any olives that fall on the ground during the picking process are not thrown away, but are instead used to make our Olive Oil Soap. Our BAAL Olive Oil Soap Flakes result when we hand-cut and hand-carve our BAAL Olive Oil Soap. We then package them in a hand-stamped 100% cotton pouch that is biodegradable so that they are packaged completely plastic-free.
